Just wanted to write a quick note to thank you for the service I received from you and your team. I appreciate that you didn't have a huge time frame to work with, but as promised, my chosen ring was waiting for me at the Airport on my departure last month.
Despite seeing several CAD drawings of my chosen design, I had to sneak a peak at the ring at the airport before stashing it in my bag, and I couldn't have been happier with the design. You did a great job in selecting the stone - it was a little bigger than I imagined - not that that is a problem! - the ring looks perfect.

We had an antique design in mind and using two family diamonds, we then purchased a 1.00ct cushion cut diamond and incorported these into our unique design. We were able to check the proportion of the ring using the CAD modeling and 3D graphics and once the design was perfect the blueprint was produced in Platinum. The finished result was identical to the CAD that we previewed and very very sparkly. When my partner and I got engaged we decided to have an engagement ring made and had spotted a beautiful ring on a friend who advised me she had it made through Polished Diamonds. We went online and found the website which was very detailed but easy to use and found a ring we wanted to model ours on. We then contacted Dan who helped guide us through the process which he made very easy. We wanted a small change to the ring we had found online and Dan had the CAD design through to us in a few days. He had also taken his time to find us 3 perfectly matched diamonds and was more than happy to advise on the different options we could use for the setting and band. As a medical doctor, I am used to noticing fine details, and when I started looking for rings at retail jewelry stores, I soon realised the diamonds didn't hold up to close scrutiny. I was clueless and worried when I started looking for an Engagement ring to propose with. Luckily, I stumbled onto a piece of old news article about Polished Diamonds. I played around with their website to start with, the procedure outlined on the website was already pretty clear but I thought I would still give them a call to check how he sounded. Meeting someone I felt I could spend the rest of my life with took a long search, and when it came to proposing, there was no way a trip to the local jewelry store was going to cut it. There is no doubt - buying an engagement ring is one of the most important decisions any man will ever make. Like most of us it would seem, I spent quite some time looking through rings in high street shops and learning exactly what constituted a quality stone. To be fair, I was horrified by some of the pricing out there and have always had an attitude that if you can bypass the middle man who adds questionable value, then you most certainly should. With that in mind and armed with some education, I searched the internet looking for a reputable online dealer. As many before me have mentioned in their testimonials, this is a harrowing process. The amount of money most of us are spending means that this is a nervous experience and one that you undertake with a significant amount of trepidation. Let me say, at the age of 38 years old and with 20+ years behind me in service orientated backgrounds, if you can find a more accommodating, trustworthy and abjectly honourable person to deal with than Dan at Polished Diamonds, then you will have done extremely well. Personally I couldn't have been more impressed. A database of over 33,000 GIA diamonds structured in a simple search engine that means you decide color, cut, clarity, size, polish etc You get consulted and reassured at every step along the way, and the result was outstanding. Honestly, I'm doing Dan a disservice calling the result outstanding but adjectives aren't my strong point. Suffice to say the girl was over the moon and as any male in a relationship will tell you happy wife = happy life! We chose a .90 carat solitaire with VS1 clarity, with excellent polish, symmetry and cut. The landed price from Dan including 18ct white gold ring designed to her preferences was a bargain and the quality workmanship was stunning. The same stone and ring in the aforementioned shops would have to have been ordered in and would have cost me twice as much without the quality enough said. Dan, you are a legend and quite simply anyone I can tell about your organisation will be hearing about it ad nauseum. Kind regards.

Our jeweler quoted us a few diamonds and I thought I would do my own research to see if I could find comparable diamonds and price. While looking for a diamond we were quoted a lesser color and clarity diamond for over 800 dollars more than the diamond Polished Diamonds supplied. Not to mention the excellent grades for cut and polish which are hard to come by. As far as web sites go I was confident when Dan contacted me within ten minutes of submitting a query about several diamonds. I was able to discuss what I was looking for and diamond characteristics. Dan also followed our discussion with an email of 6-8 diamonds meeting my requirements along with GIA reports. In my opinion if it doesn't come with GIA grading don't but it. Countless retail stores will claim a diamonds color and clarity but wont or can't provide a GIA report. Using Dan's experience I picked out a true sparkler- both on paper but more importantly in real life. I received the diamond by registered courier and believe me it is fantastic in the light!!
